I took this picture standing in front of my home. It's a view of the back of the house. It only looks like fall this time of year.
Just looking at the colors and the uniqueness in each individual item is so energizing to me!
It was most refreshing coming out of the last few weeks of Summer, and finding a full supply of Fall decorations at my local craft store.
The Craft store is one of my favorite places to shop. It's like Eye Candy. The scents in the AC Moore store is incredible, and causes me to stay longer, and browse.
The straw dolls are so cute. I have one that I put in front of my home, and I call her Molly. That was my sister's nick name.

When you find it difficult to use something exactly the way it is, or intended to be, and instead you make it into something else, or find another use for it, you're a designer!
You can be as creative as you want to be. I collect artificial flowers from where ever I can find really nice ones, The Goodwill store is my usual spot!
These aren't used as much anymore for Halloween as in the past. The scare crow has been replaced with really ghostly stuff.
This is actually my first year seeing plastic pumpkins. Where have I been? Well I'm always busy, minding my business! They're cute, but "Ain't Nothing Like The Real Thing!
I purchase my pumpkins closer to Thanksgiving and even use them in my Christmas arrangements. After all, I'll be making pumpkin pie.
Each year i find more and more new cool stuff. Brown is not my favorite color, but I could incorporate it with something else, and make it work!
Could you imagine blending these two holiday scents, potpourri and cinnamon scented pine cones?
I fell hard for this little touch of elegance, now I use it all year long.
These are the stuffed animals I store with my Christmas decorations. Some have sentimental value because I've had them a long time, and others don't.
I chose this picture of my daughter Diamond when she was ten years old. We were making a Fall wreath.
My kids grew up watching me do all sorts of craft projects, and I always involved them, so they all have a crafty side to them, even the boys. I would paint them Fall colors.
After I painted the clay pots, I would put tea light candles in them and line them up on my inside steps during the Fall and thanksgiving.
This was an arrangement I found at the craft store.
This is why I can use garland all year around, it's for the curtain in my dining room.
This is a simple look, all neutral colors with the same monotone value, curtains, couch, floor, and ceiling. This is a great place to add color and texture to your space.
You could use these in a display for both Thanksgiving and Christmas in any room of the house. I think it would look especially nice in the bathroom.
