Christmas Home Tour Photos
I've had this bookcase for a very long time. and have painted it twice. It resides in my craft room to hold craft items, but during Christmas I use it to hold my ceramic houses,
I purchased the fabric for the chair covers and table runner at Joanne Fabrics at 40% off the regular price. It feels like lightweight leather, and has endured through quite a few holiday occasions.
Presently, I have what looks like a Golden Calf and it is filled with long chains of beads in and in gold, red, and silver. This table setting is changed throughout the holiday to reflect the mood and occasion.
I got this idea of the bulbs that would hang from a chandelier as a way to give my light fixture a face lift.
I had this long sheer curtain that i would wrap around the window, or the stair case, but one day I decided to try on the entry way between the Dining, and living room. Since then, I take it down only to wash.
I used my Butcher block for my coffee bar, and I stocked the cabinet with holiday plates, saucers, utensils, paper napkins, coffee and tea, hot chocolate refills, and all the other necessities.
Second to decorating the tree, is the banister. It is easy to get to, and easy to change. This is my next favorite spot for the tree.
Now that my children are older, I can decorate with glass and candles.. This is what I look forward to around the holidays. I's so peaceful and tranquil.
I have positioned this 9' tree in two other places in our living room. In front of these triple windows is the happiest space because it looks gorgeous from the outside.
During the day, it's the sky lights that light up this room.
This is the foyer view. Sometimes I make where I'm standing a sitting area, It works well when we have gatherings because it opens up extra space for our guests.
All year round tree decorated with Christmas lights.
